Why is your work with YBMKQ important to you?

Creating inspiring and transformative spaces where young people can turn their pain into purpose has always been my mission. Drawing from my own life experiences—losing my uncle, best friend, godson, and countless other friends and family members—I want to show young people in our community that success is possible, and that it knows no age limits. I want our parents to feel reassured that they are not alone on this journey. We are in this together—I am a part of your village, here to support and uplift your young people daily.

Why is your work with YBMKQ important to you?

I am deeply motivated by the chance to provide meaningful experiences for families and communities, build strong community partnerships and foster growth and connection in ways that leave a lasting impact. Being part of an organization that uplifts and inspires others fuels my commitment to making a difference every day. I find joy in empowering young people and creating opportunities that transform lives.

Why is your work with YBMKQ important to you? 

I love being a part of YBMKQ because I’m passionate about working with young people and watching them grow into the incredible individuals God has called them to be. My belief is that by investing in them, we can help them realize their full potential. I am grateful for the  opportunity to learn from them while demonstrating my genuine care for their well-being. My hope for this work is that it empowers them to step confidently into their futures with faith, purpose, and self-belief.

Why is your work with YBMKQ important to you?

I have always been passionate about advocating for spaces that advance the growth and success of youth and communities impacting them in meaningful, lasting ways. Creating environments that prioritize academic success, mental health, and unique experiences is at the core of my mission. I’m fortunate to dedicate my energy to ensuring that every space we create supports not only academic and professional success but also the emotional resilience and overall well-being of those who we are fortunate to interact with. This is not just a job; it’s a commitment to fostering environments where people can thrive in every aspect of their lives.

Why is your work with YBMKQ important to you?

When you love what you do, you never “work” a day in your life” is a quote that was instilled in me a long time ago and I love working at YBMKQ because I love the work that YBMKQ is doing with/for the children. Being a parent myself I understand that having support and resources for our children is so important to their future. YBMKQ is going above and beyond to be there for our children and being a part of that mission is so rewarding every single day. 

Why is your work with YBMKQ important to you?

Working with kids is really rewarding because they have such a pure, unfiltered way of seeing the world. They bring a lot of energy and creativity to everything they do. Plus, it’s fun to watch them learn and grow.

Why is your work with YBMKQ important to you? 

Working with youth always remains a rewarding experience as I see firsthand passions unfold as these young people begin to tap into their boundless potential. Though it is sometimes misplaced, the resilience, curiosity, and creativity young minds demonstrate as they tackle challenges is inspiring and always provides a fresh perspective on life. Seeing young people learn, grow, and build confidence through programming at YBMKQ motivates me to do more to support their journeys. As this work continues, I am hopeful we will continue to build bridges that connect young people and communities while creating pathways to success. More importantly, I am hopeful that more young minds will have access to resources and opportunities that change their trajectories.
